I was born in Izmir, Turkey. I attended the American Collegiate Institute in Izmir and went on to obtain my Bachelor's degree from Sabanci University in Istanbul, where I majored in electrical engineering and minored in physics. I got my PhD in physics from Cornell University, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Liam McAllister (https://liammcallistergroup.com/). During this time, I specialized in solving computational problems in string phenomenology and algebraic geometry. Upon receiving my PhD in 2021, I started working at the NSF AI Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Interactions (https://iaifi.org/) as a postdoctoral research associate.Â
